Starting to get watertight

 Friday 10th October
Once again been a busy week spent a lot of time mopping up water from inside the bungalow.  The rainwater harvester (onion shaped thing) will sit idle until we can get the scaffold down and then dig the drains and have a massive hole dug to bury this,  However it will be connected to a couple of toilets so will save in the long run.
As you can see we have a lot of OSB off cuts which were scattered around the place so have just piled them by the shed and will dump eventually if we don't use them - or burn them!

Alan and Kevin putting up roof battens and felt to help keep us dry.  We have also covered all the windows and doors with plastic to help keep out the weather.

Roof window now covered up with felt as this won't arrive until Monday week.  Dave has spent days on the phone chasing this up which was ordered months ago.
Air source heater man came on Thursday to survey and tell us what we need to do prior to installation.  So we now need to try and get electricity and water connected to the bungalow - it is on site but needs to be channelled in.

Boxes contain ventilation system - once again large shipment sent in small van and we then have to manhandle them from the van and put somewhere.  We have just put them in the bungalow for the time being - will take a few days in install I should think as we have to run all the pipes around the bungalow.
