Guess what we did today? Yes shifted and sifted more soil, wheelbarrow after wheelbarrow.
This soil is very rich and this time we haven't had to sift out old vegetation, apart from the odd tree root or two - oh and lots of stones of course.
It has been a cool but dry day perfect for all this humping around.
We have to put another layer on top in the middle but unfortunately we ran out of decking.
Have more on order so hopefully that will come on Monday, otherwise we will just have to wheelbarrow it and sift it near the boxes and then transfer into the boxes later.
It all seems like double work but the pile has to be moved to allow room for the crane.
