Erection team arrive nice and early. Two young lads from Liverpool.
At last sole plate arrives. Team start on laying out wooden beams on top of the brick foundations.
Later on lorry full of glulam beams for the upper floor arrives.
Frame? no don't be silly! This will arrive on Monday along with crane so more disappointment although we are told it will be up by next weekend.
Christine did a lot more weeding, digging and raking on a patch at the front which looks much much better - huge improvement. We just hadn't got around to doing the front drive.
Our friends Janet and Juergen from Hereford came to see us and so you can see what I mean by the sole plate. The house is then screwed to this frame.
Boys worked hard and will be back tomorrow to finish of nailing wood to concrete.
