Brickwork nearly finished air source started

 End of December 2014
Worked up until Christmas Eve and then travelled to Essex.  As you can see front door has been put in (the wrong one but eh oh) they will change this asap we hope.
Christine and Martin have been over helping and came on the 2nd along with Jeni, Langton and girls who all pitched in.  The girls helped with insulation and then went to help Jeni seal the walls in the music room and put on the first layer of paint.  All go here!  We also had help from Ken and Ann from the church so have made headway.
Unfortunately have had to delay plasterers as even with all help we are still not ready.
Christine and Martin came on Sunday to help get the electrics as far as the plant room ready for the 6th Jan.

Tuesday 6th January 2015

As you can see brickies have been busy over the Christmas period and the house bricking is now all finished - yeah!! They are now working on the garage (which has been started) and also brick pillars either side of the porch way.

Air source heater arrived along with the cylinder for hot water which will be run from the air source together with an immersion.  Apparently it will take all week to install.

Cylinder was dropped off (as usual) on the driveway and we had to man handle it into the bungalow.  Tomorrow we will have to somehow get the air source round to the side of the building.  This sits outside and converts the air into hot water.  This then heats the underfloor as well as domestic water. How?  Don't ask me but I have it on good authority it works - time will tell.  We should also get a payback from the government for renewable heat incentive.
This is where the cylinder will be installed and as you can see pipework has been started but he just upped and went about 3pm and left it like this.  Dave has now cleared it and swept up ready for tomorrow's mess - but also so he can lay a few tiles for the cylinder to sit on.
